The water heater in our basement failed, flooding the basement. By luck I called Leak Proof Restoration and our water problem was quickly accessed and plan was immediately explained to us by Mr. Darrell McCampbell. Little did we know we had the main man, CEO Mr. Darrell Campbell, at our home on day one working like a Trojan to start the remediation process. He promised to be back the next day to continue with his crew removing the soaked carpet, wood trim, and the drywall(24" high) around the basement wall. The next day they returned completed their task placing 22 drying fans around the floor that ran the next 7days 24 hrs. to dry the concrete floor. Everyday, Mr. McCampbell, came to our home to get the readings for the moisture in the air in the basement for the 7 days. My family suffered a water damage catastrophe earlier this year at the end of July.
The hot water supply line connected to our secondary sink located on the granite island ruptured. This caused a discharge of water to flood the main level of our residence. I ran outside and turned off the water at the main tap by the street. It was approximately 3 am. I called multiple Warner restoration companies but none answered. Restoration Relief was the last one on the list under 24 hour emergency services. They answered!
Within 45 minutes, a van full of equipment and technicians were at our doorstep. They placed machines throughout the 1st floor and set up containment around our island. The lead tech showed me on a thermal camera (which I was very impressed with) the water that was trapped under the island. We just paid 30+ thousand to remodel kitchen and the entire main level with flooring, drywall and kitchen cabinets. My wife was on pins and needles. Also, the house was brand new by 3 months. We ripped the builder grade flooring, cabinets, etc..out, only 10 days following the closing. It seems the plumbing company who installed the island sink used a plastic fitting for the supply line.
The garages also flooded.
Within 9 hours, the garage, island and all flooring and walls on main level were dry! We did not even have to involve our new insurance policy. Wo!
This was a miracle! They came and collected the equipment within 24 hours. The tech showed me on the thermal camera he island again and it was no moisture. Only heat from the machines.These guys replaced the moisture with heat! How cool is that?They worked out a simpler payment plan which involved us paying them direct with no hassle. I can not fully express our gratitude to you guys. From the bottom of our hearts, we will always be grateful and your number is SAVED. Keep doing the great work, guys. God bless!
